We will never post an identifying photo of the face of one of our girls or babies. Here’s why.
privacy
We believe that all children deserve the opportunity to grow up with a sense of personal privacy. We are committed to protecting each child’s identity so they may enter adulthood free to create their own digital presence. While we would love to share the beautiful faces of the children in our care, we believe it is the right of each girl to share her own story with the world. We keep faces hidden to safeguard the privacy of our girls and their babies - for both the present and the future.
Furthermore, we are committed to protect the timing and manner in which each girl decides to share with her baby the story of their conception. To reveal her or her baby’s face to the world would be robbing her of the opportunity to do that. This is a deeply personal discussion between mother and child and deserves to be protected.
protection
Many of our girls’ stories may include an abuser or perpetrator who has not yet been brought to justice - and perhaps never will be. To show their faces and potentially reveal their whereabouts is to risk their protection. Our top priority is the safety of those in our care, so we are committed to taking all necessary measures to protect our girls from harm and danger.
